North Korea’s lucrative business in hair and wigs continued to drive bilateral trade with China in August, according to NK Pro analysis of Chinese customs data, alongside fabrics and medical items.

Fabrics and human hair once again topped North Korea’s import chart at nearly $14 million and $13.5 million, respectively, though they fell short of $15.8 million and $15.7 million in July, China’s General Administration of Customs (GAC) reported over the weekend.
