A U.S.-sanctioned, Russian-owned cargo ship has been in South Korea's Pohang Port for nearly one month, the NK Pro ship tracker shows, amid conflicting reports suggesting local companies will not sell it the fuel necessary to return home.

The seemingly stranded vessel is not the first owned by the U.S.-designated Gudzon Shipping which has reportedly struggled to find fuel in South Korea, though the NK Pro ship tracker also indicates that the company's ships have also previously used ROK ports apparently unhindered.

But the competing narratives in the case are overlayed
