A state television segment praised government efforts to improve the rights of people with disabilities, even as it claimed that state support helps citizens “recover” from their disabilities and employed non-inclusive language that runs counter to U.N. recommendations.

Official propaganda claimed that a woman with little formal training developed new uses for rare earth elements
