The Biden administration’s second package of unilateral North Korea sanctions designations emerged on Wednesday, just a day after Kim Jong Un oversaw the test-firing of a second “hypersonic” missile in less than a week.
The sanctions designate six North Koreans, one Russian and a Russian business for contributing to weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and missile programs. In addition, the U.S. is also apparently pushing for new U.N. Security Council (UNSC) sanctions against North Korea.
