North Korean cybercriminals are employing a new family of malware written in the Nim programming language to target Web3 and cryptocurrency-related businesses, according to a new cybersecurity report.

In a blog post published on Wednesday, U.S. cyber security firm SentinelLabs highlighted an unnamed North Korean threat group’s use of the new malware family, dubbed “NimDoor,” in a sophisticated data theft campaign targeting Apple’s macOS operating system.
