A North Korean fishing vessel owned by a self-proclaimed DPRK seafood export company regularly visits ports in the Russian Far East, despite UN resolutions prohibiting member states from importing seafood products.

The 450-tonne North Korean flagged Tong Myong San has been visiting Vladivostok and Nakhodka ports up the coast from the DPRK - Russian border for years, and its route did not change following UN sanctions passed in August last year.
