Pressure applied by various state representatives, UN officials for North Korea to adhere to NPT protocols

Ongoing concerns regarding the development of North Korea’s nuclear program were highlighted several times during opening statements commencing the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference for 2015.

Several country representatives, as well as current head of the International Atomic and Energy Agency Yukiya Amano, singled out the DPRK’s program as a cause for major concern in global non-proliferation efforts.
