N. Korea to take part in university games in South

Joint team, attendance of North Korea's cheerleading squad under consideration

The Gwangju Universiade Organizing Committee (GUOC) has announced that North Korea will take part in the 2015 Summer Universiade in South Korea in July.

The Universiade event is a two-week international sporting and cultural festival taking place every two years in a different city. University students compete in 13 different sports with a possible three further sports chosen by the host nation.
