N. Korea says situation on the ‘brink of war’

DPRK official says South's propaganda broadcasts and movement of military assets to blame

A North Korean official said the South’s propaganda broadcasts on the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), are pushing the two countries to the "brink of war", according to a broadcast from Korean Central Television (KCTV).

Speaking at a mass rally in Pyongyang celebrating what the DPRK called a successful trial of a hydrogen bomb, the head of country’s propaganda department criticised the broadcasts and the movement of U.S. military assets to South Korea.
