North Korea rejects South’s offer for aid

Pyongyang may be attempting to project economic strength by turning aid away, expert says

The Red Cross of North Korea has rejected its South Korean counterpart's offer for humanitarian aid.

The liaison for the DPRK Red Cross Society at Panmunjom refused to receive a notice from the South Korean Red Cross, which had offered 25 tons of milk powder for North Korean children on Wednesday.
