North Korea one of only two countries yet to begin COVID-19 vaccinations: WHO

Despite lack of vaccines, DPRK reports zero cases of new coronavirus after another round of testing

North Korea has found zero positive cases of COVID-19 after testing an additional 697 people, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), while the agency’s chief stated that the DPRK is one of only two countries that hasn’t yet administered vaccines to its people.

Health authorities in the DPRK tested 109 people with flu-like illness or severe acute respiratory infections and 588 health care workers from Oct. 29 to Nov. 4, the WHO’s latest weekly situation report released Saturday states.
