North Koreans pull out of EU-related meetings without explanation

DPRK delegation was to visit Brussels for first in-person meetings since pandemic began in early 2020

A North Korean foreign ministry delegation from the DPRK embassy in Germany has pulled out of a planned set of EU-related meetings in Brussels, multiple informed sources told NK News on Friday.

Two mid-ranking diplomats from the DPRK Embassy in Berlin were supposed to visit the Belgian capital for meetings with the European Parliament’s Delegation for Relations with the Korean Peninsula (DKOR) later this month, but canceled without providing an explanation, sources said.
