Two years later, Trump and Kim’s failed Hanoi summit casts a dark shadow

The U.S. and North Korea missed the chance to strike a deal, experts say — and that opportunity may never come back

Two years ago, U.S. President Donald Trump abruptly walked out of a rare face-to-face meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, putting an end to a wave of nuclear negotiations between Washington and Pyongyang.
