South Korea will work with China to achieve North Korean denuclearization: Moon

Experts, however, doubt North Korea was high on Chinese foreign minister's agenda in meeting with South Korean president

South Korean President Moon Jae-in vowed to work with China to end the Korean War and achieve “complete denuclearization” on the peninsula at a meeting with Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi on Thursday, according to the Blue House.

The two discussed a range of issues, including economic cooperation and joint efforts to fight COVID-19, at the rare in-person meeting in Seoul. Experts, however, doubt that North Korea was high on China’s agenda for the visit.
