North Korea dismisses UN “nonsense” over inter-Korean communication lines

DPRK foreign ministry accuses UN Secretary General of "biased views"

A North Korean foreign ministry spokesperson on Thursday slammed recent remarks attributed to the UN Secretary General over Pyongyang's recent severing of inter-Korean communication lines.

In a statement carried the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the official condemned António Guterres's comments -- delivered by spokesperson Stephane Dujarric on Wednesday morning -- as "an expression of inappropriate and biased views."
