North Korea commences major anti-South Korea campaign on defector leaflets

Propaganda campaign follows revelation that Kim Yo Jong is first deputy director of United Front Department

North Korea has commenced a multi-vector propaganda campaign to criticize South Korea for failing to stop defectors from sending anti-regime leaflets across the border, analysis of Sunday state media output by NK News shows.

The effort comes after Pyongyang said Friday it would withdraw from the inter-Korean liaison office due to the Moon Jae-in government's inability to prevent the leaflets being sent North.
