Prosecutors in Moscow issued an indictment against a North Korean national accused of illegally fishing in Russian waters last September and then attacking Russian border guards after being caught, the official TASS news agency reported Tuesday.
Hundreds of DPRK citizens were arrested last year for allegedly poaching off of Russia's far-eastern coast, and the indictment announced Tuesday marks the first such criminal case to move forward, according to TASS.
