N. Koreans accused of assaulting Russian border guards to be held pending trail

DPRK "poachers" have been held by authorities in Nakhodka since September 17

Six North Koreans held in detention in Russia's far-east accused of assaulting several local border guards will be held in detention for two months while they await trail, a local court ruled on Monday.

The decision by the Nakhodka City Court, reported by the TASS news agency, follows the arrest of the six North Koreans and 155 of their fellow crew earlier in the month for illegal fishing.
