Kim Jong Un arrives in Vladivostok as meeting with Putin set for Thursday
Long-awaited DPRK-Russian summit expected to take place at nearby Russky Island
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un arrived in Vladivostok Wednesday evening just after 1800 local time, set to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin for their first summit on Thursday. Stepping off his armored train at the city’s main station, Kim was greeted by Russia’s Far East Development Minister Alexander Kozlov, whom he previously met in the morning during a brief stop at the border.
