Pham Binh Minh to spend three days in DPRK, will meet with local counterpart Ri Yong Ho

Vietnamese deputy prime minister and foreign minister Pham Binh Minh will travel to North Korea for a three-day visit between February 12-14, Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) announced on Monday.

The visit is taking place at the invitation of DPRK foreign minister Ri Yong Ho, a tweet by MoFA spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang said, and comes just days after U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that an upcoming U.S.-North Korea summit will take place in Hanoi.
