Kim Jong Un hails Chinese delegation’s “significant” visit to Pyongyang

North Korean leader says Sino-DPRK exchanges must continue as art troupe wraps up stay

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Monday said that a visit by a Chinese art troupe would be a “significant occasion” in further strengthening Sino-DPRK relations, the North’s state-run media Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Tuesday.

Amid several days of cultural events in the DPRK capital, Kim and his wife Ri Sol Ju last night attended a performance of the “Red Women Company” ballet staged by a Chinese performing squad at the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre.
