Kim Yong Nam to lead North Korean delegation to PyeongChang Olympics

President of the SPA Presidium to be accompanied by three other officials, 18 support staff: MOU

The DPRK's President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly Kim Yong Nam will lead North Korea's official delegation to the upcoming PyeongChang Olympics, the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) announced on Monday.

South Korea's Ministry of Unification confirmed the news, saying in a statement that the North had conveyed the message on Sunday night in a note addressed to Seoul's chief delegate to inter-Korean talks, unification minister Cho Myoung-gyon.
