Trump and Moon agree to abolish payload limit on South Korean missiles

Phone call follows Trump's criticism of South Korea via social media

U.S. and South Korean Presidents Donald Trump and Moon Jae-in agreed to remove existing limits on the payload weight South Korean missiles are permitted to carry, during a phone call on Monday following the DPRK’s sixth underground nuclear test.

On Sunday, North Korea tested what it said was a hydrogen bomb that can be placed on an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), prompting a flurry of phone calls between world leaders, and an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council (UNSC).
