The three countries call for additional pressure, further UNSC resolutions, following ICBM test

South Korea, the U.S. and Japan issued a joint statement vowing to work closely to denuclearize North Korea and condemning the DPRK's recent test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on Friday, calling it a "major escalation."

The statement issued by the White House followed a trilateral meeting between the countries' leaders on Thursday, at the G20 meeting in Hamburg, Germany.
