Leader orders military to maintain high alert and "break the backbone" of the South Korean army

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reviewed a new strike plan against a South Korean forward military unit during a visit to two frontline islands in the Yellow Sea, the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Friday.

Kim inspected the advanced base at Jangjae island (Jangjae-do) and the coastal defense station at Mu island (Mu-do), located near the Northern Limit Line (NLL), the de facto maritime border between North and South Korea.
