Malaysia's ambassador to North Korea Mohammad Nizan Bin Mohammad will return on Tuesday to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's foreign ministry said in statement on Monday.
The confirmation comes after an earlier denial by Malaysia's embassy in North Korea that the Ambassador was going to be returning to his headquarters, as well as an interview with Russia's TASS news agency that suggested he would be staying in-country.
