High Temperature Persists in Korea

Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) — Most areas of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea had suffered from typhoon-triggered downpour from July 18, affected by seasonal rainy front.

However, the rainy front moved north of 40 degrees North Latitude from July 31, causing temporary stoppage of rainfall in the west coastal areas except North Phyongan Province.
