North Korea says it tested new ‘anti aircraft missile’ on Thursday

Test reportedly came on same day that Pyongyang revealed olive branch to Seoul to restart talks

North Korea tested a new “anti-aircraft missile” on Thursday, state media reported the following day, marking the country’s fourth missile test of September.

The test was overseen by top military official and politburo presidium member Pak Jong Chon, with state media once again not mentioning the presence of leader Kim Jong Un.
