Two Koreas to have preliminary meeting next Thursday

South accepts North's offer of dialogue after more than two months of false starts

South Korea on Friday accepted a North Korean proposal to organize working-level talks at Panmunjeom next Thursday, according to the Ministry of Unification (MoU).

The North Korean Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) sent a notice to South Korea early on Friday, suggesting preliminary talks. The notice was sent via Panmunjeom to the MoU.
