As N. Korea inches ‘close to war,’ life in Pyongyang reportedly ‘completely normal’

Despite increasing tensions, circumstances in North Korean capital remain normal

Despite North Korea warning Friday that frontline troops were preparing for conflict and that military units had been placed in a “wartime state," life in the North Korean capital is continuing as normal, one foreign resident based in the city told NK News.

State media outlet the Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) reiterated warnings Friday that the peninsula was "inching close the brink of war," due to what it described as "reckless provocations" made by South Korea.
