Kim Jong Un photographed more than predecessors: Analyst

N. Korean leader's pictures in Rodong Sinmun display his attributes as young leader; penchant for 'commemorative photographs'

A South Korean media analyst said Tuesday that Kim Jong Un is appearing in North Korean state media at much more frequent rates than his father or grandfather.

Experts specializing in North Korean media gathered at the Seoul Museum of Arts to discuss the correlation between leadership and media. The academic event is affiliated with the exhibition of the 70th Anniversary of Liberation Day, commemorating the Korean Peninsula’s liberation from Japanese colonization.
