Women’s group DMZ crossing approved but not at Panmunjom

South Korea will not allow the group to cross at the Joint Security Area in Panmunjom

The South Korean government has approved the WomenCrossDMZ campaign’s proposed peace march across the Korean border, but not at the Joint Security Area in Panmunjom, a Ministry of Unification (MoU) official told NK News Friday.

The MoU has, in consultation with UN Command, “recommended” that the group make the crossing near the inter-Korean industrial complex at Kaesong.
