Russia, N.Korea cooperation not affected by Kim’s Moscow absence

Russia's Minister for Far East Development says recently signed economic protocol not affected

Kim Jong Un’s cancellation of plans to visit Moscow will not affect the protocol on economic cooperation signed earlier this week, Russia’s minister for the development of the Russian Far East told reporters in Moscow on Thursday.

The North Korean leader’s decision to stay in Pyongyang and focus on domestic issues came the same week as numerous cooperation projects between Russia and the DPRK were moved forward.
