‘Frack’ North Korea with targeted information: Report

Giving Northerners more data may not overthrow the regime, but may help them reshape it, author says

A new report by Harvard University’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs provides recommendations for U.S. policymakers to pressure the North Korean government into changing from within via targeted information campaigns.

The report entitled “Hack and Frack North Korea: How Information Campaigns Ccan Liberate the Hermit Kingdom,” authored by Belfer Center research fellow Jieun Baek, suggests a three-pronged strategy for the U.S. government.
