Russia appoints ‘commissioners’ for North Korean projects

Commissioners will be contact points for individual projects, news comes as Russia, DPRK begin 'Friendship Year'

Russia will appoint new ‘project commissioners’ in North Korea, who will work to reduce red tape and streamline business interactions, according to a press release from the Russian Ministry of Far East Development on April 14.

The commissioners will intermediate between Russian investors and North Korean officials.
