The project will train DPRK doctors in Germany on using more advanced medical technology

The South Korean Government announced on Wednesday that it will resume funding a program training North Korean doctors in Germany, after a seven year hiatus.

Seoul’s Ministry of Unification (MoU) will provide $83,000 dollars to the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare via the inter-Korean cooperation fund, a resource established in 1990 to boost exchanges and cooperation between the North and South.
