North Korea plans cutting edge science park

High tech park will include zone focused on developing products with foreign partners

North Korean media has announced further plans to develop a high tech development zone in the Unjong Science Park 30 kilometres north of Pyongyang.

According to the Pyongyang Times, the area - which already houses the DPRK’s State Academy of Sciences (SAS) - will cover two square kilometres and will house projects intended to attract foreign investment.
