North Korea asks Cambodia to stop “The Interview” distribution

The DPRK embassy in Yangon requests that the Cambodian government not broadcast the movie

The DPRK embassy in Cambodia has asked the government to stop the sale and distribution of “The Interview”, the Hollywood movie depicting the assassination of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, according to local media.

Cambodia’s foreign affairs secretary of state Long Visalo forwarded the request made by the DPRK on embassy on January 8, to the Information Ministry. The letter was later released to the press.
