Kim Jong Un visit confirmed for Moscow in May: Kremlin

Travel for WWII anniversary would be Kim's first meeting with foreign head of state

It appears North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will make Moscow the venue for his first foreign visit in May.

North Korea’s leader was among the dignitaries invited by the Kremlin to attend Moscow’s celebration of the USSR’s victory in World War II. Though the North confirmed the attendance of its leader, it was originally unclear whether Kim Jong Un would attend or whether the North would send Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the North Korean Supreme People's Assembly.
