10 months on, evidence of Pyongyang train station refurbishment yet to emerge

Refurbishment program appears yet to get on track

A refurbishment of Pyongyang's main railway station has made no progress since plans were announced in January 2014, photos and reports from local tour operators have recently indicated.

The station, built following the Korean War in 1958, was to be repaired and modernized, DPRK railroad ministry director Kim Soon Ok told pro-North Korean media outlet Chosun Sinbo in January.
