Despite warnings, South Koreans send anti-DPRK leaflets

Pyongyang says balloon launches must stop for improved inter-Korean relations

A South Korean activist group dismissed Pyongyang’s threats, launched balloons carrying anti-DPRK leaflets into the North on Sunday, and now North Korea claims they may damage inter-Korean relations.

About 10 members from Fighters for a Free North Korea, a Seoul-based human rights group led by defectors, gathered in Paju, just south of the 38th parallel, to release 10 balloons carrying 200,000 leaflets.
