Approximately 820 South Korean workers headed north to the Kaesong Industrial Complex Monday, returning to work for the first time since the joint-plant was shutdown five months ago.
In addition to the arrival of the South Korean workers, some 32,000 North Korean workers – around two thirds of the total workforce – also returned to the complex Monday, as requested by the South Korean side.
