Dear Ask a North Korean Readers,

First of all, I want to thank all of my readers from countries near and far, for taking an interest in such a small, isolated country like North Korea. I also want to thank you for putting up with my essays, which I felt could’ve been better. I am grateful for the opportunity to unearth and reminisce the memories of my homeland that I had buried deep within my heart.

Through writing and sharing my stories with you, I was able to re-experience the home I’ve left behind. I regret that I am unable to continue this column and share more about North Korea with you, but I hope that you will stay interested in my country and cheer on the reunification of the two Koreas. Thank you so much for all your continued support!

Jae-Young
