Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) — Heavy rains, interwoven with strong wind, hit some east and west coastal areas of the DPRK from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday dawn, affected by low pressure crossing the central area of Korea.

122 mm rainfall was registered in Sinuiju City, North Phyongan Province, 104 mm in Jangyon County, South Hwanghae
